In the 1980s, there was a tour of the US of a number of props from the Doctor Who series. This tour made two stops in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, once, in October of 1986, a combined appearance with the DWFCA, with Patrick Troughton and Colin Baker, and the following year, with Sylvester McCoy during a break while he was doing his first series of Doctor Who.
What follows is a flyer concerning the layout and origin of the bus, and then an article from the October 9th, 1986 edition of the Skyway News, concerning the first stop of the bus tour in Minneapolis. Apologies for the quality of the scans, I found the old versions of the files while looking through my old data.
