In July of 1988, the Time Festival took place in St Paul, Minnesota. The Time Festival was a Doctor Who convention that was run by different groups from year to year in different cities throughout the United States, and the guests in 1988 were Jon Pertwee (the Third Doctor), Janet Fielding (Tegan), and Fraiser Hines (Jamie).
It was the first convention that I had any organizational involvement with. (I was in high school at the time.)
